In our last blog, we spoke about document scanning here at Micro Com Systems. We talked about how we process the box and the files, document preparation, quality control; and indexing.
Today, I want to dive a little deeper into one of the services we offer: microfilm and microfiche scanning.
(Well, it would be awkward and weird if the blog was about something different than the title, right?)
And as in the last blog, I also bring you a video.
I won’t go into all the details of the video because, well, it would be redundant. But there’s something that it’s not featured in the video that I think it’s worth mentioning.
The attention to detail and the will to deliver the best quality material to the clients amaze me the most at Micro Com Systems. And I can see that daily with the Sunrise microfilm and microfiche scanners.
Every day—and I mean it—the machines are assessed to ensure everything is running as smoothly as possible. Not only that, between jobs, every glass part is cleaned in order to guarantee a crystal clear quality image.
The result is the best possible digitalization of every single microfilm and microfiche frame.
In my first few days, I thought that such repetitive maintenance was overkill. But it isn’t. You can see the difference as clear as day and night. You can’t imagine how a speck of almost invisible dirt can ruin such a delicate task.
To me, that’s what sets us apart from other companies. We do whatever we need to do to ensure quality.
