Micro Com System Vancouver has two Kodak Digital Archive Writers, which we use on a daily basis. The DAW creates archival backups of digital images to 16mm silver microfilm. This is a very inexpensive way to ensure that scanned images will be safely archived for a minimum of 100 years independent of any changes in electronic format.
